2.) Legal basis

The legal basis for the data processing related to any visit of our website is Art. 6 (1) phrase 1 letter a) GDPR in case consent was given voluntarily. For other cases, it is Art. 6 (1) letter b) and Art. 6 (1) letter f).

Hereinafter, we shall indicate the applicable legal basis for the relevant processing operation carried out by us.

Upon visiting our website, we only collect the personal data automatically transmitted by your browser to our web server. This information is required for viewing our website and it is used to ensure and improve the security and stability of our website. In detail, the following access data will be processed automatically when visiting our website:

It goes without saying that your data will be treated as confidential in accordance with the data protection regulations, and it will not be sold to any third parties or marketed otherwise.

3.) Disclosure of data to third parties

Your personal data is disclosed to our licensed parties for the specific purpose of processing your orders, complaints, or product-related enquiries in a timely manner. The provisions for this have been laid down in a corresponding joint controller agreement in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR. Moreover, the disclosure of address details to our parcel delivery service is required for the delivery of goods. The parcel delivery service is obliged to treat your data as confidential and to use it for the sole purpose of delivery. Furthermore, your payment information is passed to the relevant financial institution for payment processing. The service providers we use will only act upon our instructions and are contractually bound by existing processor agreements in line with Art. 28 GDPR to comply with the data protection provisions. There will be no other transmission of customer personal data to third parties beyond the cases described. In particular cases, we are, however, authorised to provide information on your data to the competent authorities whenever they request your data in order to exercise their powers (e.g. law enforcement).

We will not use the collected data for advertising, market research or opinion polls without your consent.
When subscribing to our newsletter you agree to us using your name and address for our own marketing purposes. In accordance with data protection regulations, subscription is subject to the double opt-in method. You may revoke your consent for the storage and use of your name and email address for the mailing of the newsletter at any time and for the future by sending an email to: info@saliter.de, or by unsubscribing from the newsletter.


4.) Children

Please make sure that no children under the age of 16 transmit personal data without their parents’ or legal guardian’s consent. We recommend that all parents and legal guardians raise their children’s awareness regarding the safe and responsible use of personal data on the internet. We shall on no account knowingly store children’s personal data which has been transmitted to us without their parents’ or legal guardians’ consent, nor shall we use this data in any way nor pass it on to any third party.

The provider of this website uses the services of etracker GmbH, Hamburg, Germany (www.etracker.com) for usage data analysis. By default, we do not use cookies for web analysis. Whenever we use cookies for analytics or enhancement purposes, we will obtain your separate and explicit consent in advance. In this case,
and provided that you give your consent, we will use cookies for statistical reach analysis of this website, for measuring the effectiveness of our online marketing campaigns and for testing purposes, e.g. in order to try out and optimize different versions of our online offer or parts thereof.
